Michelle LeeMichelle Lee

Executive Producer

Michelle is from Dublin and has been involved with Irish music and dance all of her life. She is a passionate believer that love of dance and performance is an important freedom of expression and a means to brighter aspirations.

As a dancer she has won many awards but her love and passion has always been to teach and to foster a love of dance in her students. She established the Lee-Byrne Academy in Dublin in 1990 to teach and promote Irish dance and culture and to encourage and instruct the next generation of Irish dancers to pursue their dreams and follow their ambitions. Michelle is also a qualified adjudicator and as a dance educator she aims to create a learning environment in which students grow as individual dancers and team members. As a teacher and studio owner, her students have developed a love of dance, have won at the highest level competitively, and have gone on to dance with the largest Irish dance shows and production companies, and many have gone on to share their love of dance and to become teachers themselves! Michelle loves to watch young performers grow and see the impact dance and performance has on their lives. By surrounding herself and the students with exceptional teachers, a positive environment, and a love of dance she hopes to share all the benefits of dance with each and every student who walk through the door!

Michelle works as a dance events coordinator providing resources for the development of professional dance, event management, festivals, conferences and promotions.

Michelle is very excited to be involved with studio2stage - The Irish Music & Dance Experience giving aspiring young dancers and musicians the opportunity of a lifetime, to learn from world class choreographers and perform on stage in a full scale professional Irish music and dance stage production.
