Enda began Irish Dancing in his native Dublin at the age of four. He enjoyed considerable success, winning prizes at regional and national level. Enda’s dance education was not confined to Irish Dance, however, and he was quickly recognised as a versatile artist, performing in a wide range of productions. Enda was awarded the title of ‘Best Entertainer’ in Ireland’s Showtime competition, and the Tom O’Reilly Award for Outstanding Performance in the John Player Tops competition.

Enda began his professional performance career with the internationally acclaimed Jury’s Irish Cabaret. He became the show’s principal male dancer, and went on to choreograph the show for many seasons, working alongside the widely respected choreographer and director, Joan Kenny. Jury’s Irish Cabaret was renowned for its creative choreography and Enda performed in and choreographed the exciting 1998 season which was awarded the coveted Jacob’s National Entertainment Award for Best Live Show.

For the following ten years, Enda worked in Irish productions at home and abroad and toured extensively with Tony Kenny and many other Irish artists. Television credits include live performances on several national television shows including the National Entertainment Awards and productions for PBS in America. Enda was honoured to be invited to choreograph the highly acclaimed Irish Dance montage in the hit film Some Mother’s Son, a clip of which was shown at the Academy Awards Ceremony. Enda continues to choreograph folkloric shows for corporate events at home and abroad. 

Enda is a registered Teacher, Adjudicator and Grading Examiner with An Chomhdháil, and runs a successful dance school in Dublin. His students have won National and World Championship titles and perform in many of the major Irish Dance Shows. Alongside his career in dance, Enda works as a Primary School Principal in an Irish medium school in County Dublin.
