Zach Klingenberg

Zach Klingenberg was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where he began dancing with the Richens/Timm Academy of Irish dance at the age of five.  He spent 14 years with the academy, competing in Regional, National and World championships until he graduated high school in 2010. After becoming a Regional champion, a North American runner-up and finishing top 10 at the World championship four times, Zach went on to perform in the show Lord of the Dance as a back line dancer as well as the lead role in the production.

In addition Zach has gone on to be a co-founder and choreographer of Irish dance & electronic music fusion group TapTronic, choreographer of the recent dance production, Murphy’s Legacy, and has recently performed with several other productions.

As Zach continues to explore and push the boundaries of what it means to be an Irish dancer he is incredibly excited to be working once again for 2017 with all the studio2stage team and to help younger dancers bridge the gap between the competitive and professional realms of Irish dance.
